1. What we collect

When you use LongevityNetwork we may collect:

• Account info — your email address and a hashed password when you sign up.
• CGM glucose data — glucose readings, timestamps, and associated metadata from your connected continuous glucose monitor account (e.g. Ottai Share). This data is shared with us only after you explicitly grant access through the CGM app's sharing feature.
• Profile preferences — display settings like your preferred glucose unit (mg/dL or mmol/L) and target ranges.
• Usage data — basic analytics such as pages visited and features used, to help us improve the product.

We do not collect your CGM app password, payment information, or any data beyond what is listed above.

2. How we use your data

• Display your glucose readings and trends on your dashboard.
• Generate personalized health insights, reports, and analytics.
• Improve and develop new features on the platform.
• Communicate with you about your account or important service updates.

We never sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for marketing purposes.

3. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on encrypted servers and transmitted over HTTPS. We follow industry-standard security practices including encrypted databases and access controls.

That said, we're a small team and this is a beta product — no system is perfect. We're continuously improving our security posture but want to be transparent that the platform is still maturing.

4. Third-party services

We use a limited number of third-party services to operate the platform (e.g. hosting providers and authentication services). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only process it on our behalf.

We do not integrate with any advertising networks or social media tracking pixels.

5. Your rights

Regardless of where you live, we believe everyone deserves control over their personal data. You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Rectification — ask us to correct any inaccurate information.
• Deletion — request that we delete your account and all associated data. You can also disconnect your CGM account at any time from your Account Settings.
• Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent — you can revoke your consent to data processing at any time by disconnecting your CGM account or deleting your LongevityNetwork account.
• Object / restrict — ask us to stop or limit processing of your data under certain circumstances.

6. GDPR & international users

If you're in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or Switzerland, we process your data under the following lawful bases:

• Consent — you explicitly opt in when connecting your CGM account.
• Contractual necessity — processing required to provide the service you signed up for.
• Legitimate interest — improving and securing the platform.

Your data may be stored on servers located outside the EEA. Where this is the case, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your data in accordance with GDPR requirements.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe your rights have been infringed.

7. Data retention

We retain your glucose data and account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or disconnect your CGM, we will delete the associated data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No cookie banner drama here.

9. Children's privacy

LongevityNetwork is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

10. Not medical advice

Everything on LongevityNetwork is for informational and wellness purposes only. We are not a medical provider. Nothing on this platform should be considered medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the platform evolves. If we make significant changes we'll notify you via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
